Meet our beautiful Roxy-Roo!
Roxy-Roo is an 11-year-old Staffie cross who arrived into our care as a stray, and what a delightful girl she is!
Don’t let her age fool you — Roxy-Roo is young at heart and has a wonderful zest for life. She has a lovely temperament, a sweet nature and is an absolute people dog. In fact, she is something of a social butterfly and loves everyone she meets!
Roxy-Roo is a fantastic walking companion. She walks beautifully on the lead, loves exploring and takes everything in her stride. She has no issues walking past other dogs or dealing with traffic, making her a lovely girl to take out and about on adventures.
She is a gentle, affectionate girl who simply loves being with people and wants to please. We can imagine her being very happy in a home where she can enjoy plenty of adventures, followed by plenty of cuddles on the sofa.
Roxy-Roo is currently using ear cleaner for waxy ears, and this will need to be kept on top of throughout her life.
Roxy-Roo has now had her spay and is awaiting a procedure to have a mammary lump removed.
Roxy-Roo would love a quiet home where she can enjoy the next chapter of her life at her own pace, with a family who will appreciate her loving nature and her enthusiasm for life.
She could potentially live with another calm, compatible dog and resident cats, subject to successful introductions. Older, calm and attentive children may also be considered.
All introductions will take place at the centre.
Roxy-Roo really is a gorgeous girl who takes life in her stride. She has so much love to give and is ready to find someone to share her adventures — and her cuddles — with.
