Introducing Dutchess’ beautiful puppies – thankfully we only have nine and not ninety-nine! These darling Dalmatians were brought to us along with their mum after the unfortunate passing of their owner. They are thriving here and growing fast and are looking to be matched to their forever homes. We understand that they will be in high demand so please listen up!
Dutchess has nine pups, four boys and five girls. The puppies are currently six weeks old and will not be rehomed before eight weeks of age on the sixteenth of January (16/01/2024). Dalmatians are a high-energy breed with specific health needs and are not suitable for first-time dog owners. They will need owners with breed experience to ensure they get the best start in life. All puppies must be rehomed with a similar active breed. As they have been raised in kennels they will need a confident resident dog to learn from and bond with. We will ask for vet notes for any resident dogs to ensure they are up-to-date with vaccinations and are neutered. All pups will require an enclosed garden and we will require pictures of the boundaries to ensure it is sufficiently puppy-proof.
Please consider carefully before applying whether you have time for a puppy. Dalmatians may look cute but they are not for the faint-hearted! Dutchess’ pups will be very rewarding dogs if trained correctly and we would highly reccomend training classes for all pups when they are of age.
Please do not call the centre about the puppies. You must apply online to be considered. We will be contacting only successful applicants to arrange for visits. At your appointment you will meet the pups and choose one on the day. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to choose a specific sex depending on which pups are reserved first. When the pups are ready to leave our care we will arrange for them to be collected in groups to ensure no pups are left behind. Applicants must be flexible regarding pick-up date because of this.
